Red mite (Dermanyssus Gallinae) are a major concern for the commercial egg layer farmer. It is necessary to take steps to prevent infestations becoming and a welfare, performance and health issue for the flock. Red mite can traditionally be very difficult and expensive to eliminate.

Mityneo is a special blend of essential oil based products and key botanicals known to be repulsive to the red mite (Eugenia caryophyllus, Cymbopogon nardus, Rosmarinus officinalis) which stops the red mite feeding on the poultry causing the makes and young to die off. This will interfere with the red mite breeding cycle reducing the infestation levels. Mityneo is also enhanced with specific botanicals known to reduce stress and support calming and healing functions for the hens.
