Description
In Laying Hens and Breeders
Main uses:
- Improved skeletal development in young age
- Development of medullary bone (marrow cavity) in pre-laying phase
- Improved shell quality at the end of the laying period
Reasons:
- A lack of skeletal growth in young age &/or a deficiency in the development of the marrow cavity, decreases the bone storage potential of Calcium for the production phase
- The increase of the eggs size & Hen’s aging weakens the shell structure at the membranes & eggshells level
In Broilers
Main uses:
- Improved skeletal development in young age
- Improved muscle deposition
- Improved organoleptic qualities of meat
Reasons:
- With the increase in the genetic potential for growth, poultry deposit more and more muscle mass in early life
